Pictued above from left to right: Miss Evely Lane (a self-portrait) and a portrait of Una Ewing – model & CEO of the Ewing Fashion Agency.

Evely Lane has a undisputable talent for bringing out the best in any phoographic subject. Without much in the way of the “nip and tuck” effect tools that Photo Shop offers, Evely is able to capture the “goddess” and character of her subjects. I met her very briefly at her shop at Holland Paradise at Willow Palms and was immediately captured by the numerous works that littered the wall of her sudio, featuring-quality looking high-fashion style photographs you would find in a Vogue, or Tatler publication. Evely’s photography is a must for me simply because it lacks the “noise” that generally is encountered in SL photography – photos that have an imbalance in hue, colour and contrast aimed at hiding imperfections and that detract from the beauty of the subject itself. As agency owner, I was pleasantly surprised by the simplicitic style of miss Lane.

The dutch beauty is new to photograpghy, which is very difficult to believe. However in life there are always the “naturals” and the “exceptions” to whom certain things just come easily. In a short time, she has won the admiration of MM Skins creator Minnu Palen and created some works that are on display on the new sim GLAM World. Miss Lane is not only talented, but beautiful, agreeable, enthusiastic and a joy to work with.

Evely Lane has been confimed as the official event photographer for Evely the EFA Fashion week and will be photographing the featured designers and models for the full-page spread photograph and feature items in the brochure published as part of the event.

A few days ago, we announced the schedule of events that the Ewing Fashion agency will be organising and hosting as part of EFA FAshion Week in association with Second Style Magazine.

We have a number of featured designers signed up for EFA Fashion Week and are very excited about the level of enhusiasm and feedback we have had. We would like to make a call for more designers to part-take in the events and in particular the charity model auction. A large number of very atractive male and female models have signed up for the charity model auction, which will take place on the 21st of October. Each partcipating model agrees to work with a designer for free in favour of having any money that is bid on their behalf donated to charity. We were initially nervous about people seeing this as some crude variation of the “slave” auction, but we have been overwhelmed by how popular the idea has been received by the models and the sense of fun with which they view it – infact, some models who cannot take part during the week have signed up for the final part of the week in the hope of helping raise money for a good cause.

We are painfully aware of the liberty you have of shooting your own beautiful avies for your advertising campaigns, which saves you the cost if hiring a hiring a model, but we would like to share this enthusiasm with all you talented and generous designers oit therem who understand the importance of giving back, but appealing your sense of charity and generosity to match the gesture of goodwill shown by the models by registering to take part in the auction.

Registration is simple and can be done either by sending me an email , or by entering a comment on this post.

We look forward to welcoming you join us “give back”.

I would like to present Kin Keiko’s new releases.

First up, Hobo. It’s a style that can look anime-like with colors like blue and pink, but also can look very stylish with a suit in black for example.

Second, Trish. This style can also vary from quirky and edgy to classy and conservative.
Kin’s hair also have new textures so check them out. Demos cost nothing, not even the usual 1L.

While searching for a perfect shirt to present these lovely hairdo’s with, I stumbled upon Veschi and found the outfit Cozily Maroon. It’s not new, but it’s surely worth having in your inventory. It comes in several colors, all near black.
