Designer Blogs

A very dear friend of mine took me to *YS & YS*, I was amazed at the quality and I was like a kid in a candy store!  Later she introduced me to Monicuzza Babenco, owner of *YourSkin & YourShape*.

I knew immediately I wanted to blog her wonderful designs.  From gorgeous boots, prim feet shoes, jewlery, lashes and shapes.  I love skins, yes, I am a skin-o-holic!  Monicuzza’s skins are some of the most beautiful in all of Second Life.

This seasons accessories are making a huge statement… big and bold!

Boules Necklace (paglia gold)

The Boules necklace is a large piece of jewelry, perfectly worn on an open neckline.   The rope knots are separated by three beads in paglia gold and finished with brown wooden beads.  A very natural combination for a down to earth girl.

AZUL

Hello all and welcome to my weekly blog.  I thought to myself, “Tammy, here it is June the Wedding Month, I think wedding gowns are in order.”  More than that, here we go.

I was talking with my good friend Mami Jewell, owner of Azul, about working with Ewing in a fasion show a couple of weeks ago.  She got right in with us and wow did she ever blow the top off the place with her fashions.  Then the icing on the cake, was her new Wedding Dress line.  Absolutely devine.  Since not all of you were able to make the show, I want to do a show of my own.  If you want the totaly “WOW” factor at your wedding and make your fiance’s eye’s bug out, then here ya go, as all eyes will be on you.

Let’s face it!   Sunglasses are the embodiment of cool and make an immediate statement about who you you.  Looking for fun in shades this season?  Well, this season’s looks are all about making a statement.  We all know how to do that, right?

Sunglasses:  Kalnins – Bravia v1.51

Sunglasses have taken their cue from runway and street fashion.  Retro looks like aviators and oversized “Jackie O” frames along with sleek, futuristic sheild shapes compliment what’s going on in fashion.  You may find that just like clothing, the same old fashion trends are popular again.  Retro looks are considered hip and are expected to generate a tremendous response from those who follow fashion.

Aviators… Shaped like a teardrop, metal-rimmed aviators have always made a comeback since World War II when pilots wore them.

On May 23, 2009, Ewing Fashion Agency had the distinct privilege of bringing together two very famous designers.  They were Mami Jewell of Azul Collections and Elettra Gausman or Orage Creations.  The setting was the very dynamic surroundings of the Lost World Gallery.  Here was found a picture of artistic clothing creations, enveloped in a frame of art.

DeLa

Don’t you just love it when you’re favorite fashion designer is talented enough to create almost everything you need to wear in Seond Life?  Sometimes you wonder why you shop anywhere else.  Kuranosuke Kamachi brings it all together at her mainstore… DeLa.  When you first walk in, you’ll find the shoes just calling your name… “buy me Kat… c’mon, you need another pair of shoes or two“.    Then after you buy a few pairs, you realize now you need a few outfits to match.  Okay… let’s go shopping!

Okay, I say this every year… I NEED A NEW BATHING SUIT!  Every season, designers find a way of making bathing suits look better an better.  The textures so much more life-like, the shadowing on the fabric, the detail in the knot of the pareo, each prim can be manipulated  for a better fit.  The “Margarita” Seablue bikini is exactly what I needed.  This bikini is tattoo friendly and comes in all layers.  There are prim bows and layer bows so you can wear it with or without the matching pareo. Kuranosuke Kamachi thought of everything.

orage creations

Elettra Gausman is the fashion designer and owner of Orage Creations or simply… OC.  She began her Second Life adventure in 2007 as manager and events coordinator for a prominent Italian jazz club.  After some months, she discovered the fashion industry and decided to try her hand at designing clothing.  Creating and designing came very easily to her and in no time at all Elettra was pumping out fashionable clothing.  Around the same time she founded BeStyle magazine with her friend Annemarie Perenti.

An OC woman is curious, elegant and oozes sensuality.  She is luxurious and elegant without being overstated.  She is sexy. She is glamorous!
