I just found out today that Bax Coen is initiating her FIRST EVER Boot Sale

I was visiting Mimi’s Choice for Women this morning and Mimi was telling me about this fantastic sale.

Bax Boots, whom all of Second Life fashion conscious women love, are now selling for $L395 per pair.  They normally sell for $L800.  That is a savings of over 50%.

There are some hot new textures like the Zebra, which I absolutely fell in love with.  You can also pick up the matching belt and bracelets. Also find the snake skin and various colours of leopard.  All boots come with a matching purse.

Hurry over, while this sale lasts and shop ’til you drop.

This weeks blog is centered around a tried and true, well respected designer of womens boots

When I first came into Second Life, I became intrigued with it’s clothing  fashion and all aspects of it.  At first I didn’t know where to turn to find good clothing or how to make my avatar look human and beautiful and well coiffured.  I did find a wonderful woman HoneyBear Lillihook, who took me under wing and helped me.  To this day we are still best of friends.  She is now the person I have known the longest in Second Life.

Honey showed me how to find good clothing and shoes and helped me with designers.  The first pair of boots that I saw on a woman that really stood out to me I fell in love with.  I IM’d the woman and asked her if she would please tell me where she got her boots and she sent me a landmark for Bax Boots.  At that moment I rushed over to the main store and bought my first pair, that has been a year now.  I still love them as much as when I first ever spotted them being worn.  Still in my mind, no other boot out there compares to the all over design and quality of the Bax Boot.

Angel Dessous are otherwise known as Nando Korobase and Gina Beaumont. They began Angel Dessous in April 2007 at the Vision of Trust sim in a small shop with just 5 lingerie sets. From there they moved to Blue Moon Bay sim in October 2007. They eventually bought the Blue Sky sim and built the Blue Sky Mall placing their main store in front of the mall. After 8 months, their growth necessitated building a new main store on another sim, which they designed using their own ideas and the wishes of their friend and SL architect, Arian Voss. Now they carry about 200 assorted lingerie and casual wear items. The ideas for the lingerie are inspired by RL pieces, therefore they try to design items that would not only be worn in SL, but RL as well.

Designer Bax Coen has been making Boots since she came to SL in early 2007 when she found the existing boots were either covered in chains and belts, looked like the were built out of Lego, made to fit elephant’s legs or all of the above. Her original BAX Boots have been a tremendous success. They have been called SL’s best boots countless times and were copied in looks and building style by many others. All of the designs feature a sleek and sexy look and the first high quality heel click walk sounds in SL that are 100% adjustable. Now she has taken it to the next level by releasing the new BAX Ankle boots, featuring highly realistic, detailed looks and script-assisted fitting and resizing. But the most exciting feature is the new color change system, enabling you not only to have a unique look on the boots by changing up to 9 different parts but to pick up any exact color of your outfit for that and set it as an accent in the boots. A purse comes with every tall Bax boot purchase. You can find Bax’s main store here.

We hope to see you at one of the SEXIEST lingerie shows to date! Ooh, la, la!

Summer is almost gone and we will miss those fabulous fashionistas wearing light and colorful summer clothing, but don´t cry – autumn is an exciting season for mix-matching outfits. Today I put different designers in a pan and mixed them well to get these looks. Let’s start from the top; in the first picture the cute hair with the hat costs only 40 L from W&Y. Can you imagine? So cheap and yet chic! Let’s go down a bit to the necklace called Moonbeam from the famous JCNY Collections and further you can see the black jacket “Nicole” from =Dela*= which comes with different options and sizes, as well as various color options. My pants and shirt are from a set called Oro d´autunno from Emporio Naima and my shoes are the new release from Bax Coen: Bax Ankle Boots in black patent. The lush fashionable skin is called Adriana in “dark blue” from Glance – I will write more about Glance skin for my next week’s blog post, so stay tuned and check it out next Wednesday.

In the second picture, I am wearing a cute sweater called “Maia” (part of a set with jeans) with an oversized collar which comes in different color options in a package –  it’s almost only available like this with lots of colors to mix with, at Barerose Tokyo. My jeans are from =Dela*= and what you see here is only one of many choices for the autumn. The sassy hairstyle is “Danita” from Hair Solution – you will find it in 5 different colors per package. My skin is again Adriana from Glance, but in another makeup tone called “Sexy”. The shoes are the fabulous Bitchy Boots from Stiletto Moody and the matching black striped opacity socks are from Sheer.
