RFyre - The Snow Queen
RFyre – The Snow Queen

“I can give her no greater power than she has already,” said the woman; “don’t you see how strong that is? How men and animals are obliged to serve her, and how well she has got through the world, barefooted as she is. She cannot receive any power from me greater than she now has, which consists in her own purity and innocence of heart. If she cannot herself obtain access to the Snow Queen, and remove the glass fragments from little Kay, we can do nothing to help her……” ~Hans Christen Anderson, The Snow Queen

House of RFyre‘s newest release is The Snow Queen, designed by Raven Pennyfeather.  Befittingly, once you put this dress on, you can’t help but feel like a queen in a fairytale.  Between the rich textures and the attention to details, your sure to have people (along with a few furries, no doubt) worshipping you!  The Snow Queen is a stunning ice-blue gown accented throughout with white and silver.  A richly detailed, embroided bodice  is highlighted by a  whimsical, bejeweled collar with a feather mini-cape.  The billowing skirt  encircles the wearer — adding that whimsical charm that you would expect from nothing less than a queen!  Perfect for the season, as well as the holiday, you too can have people bowing at your feet.  You can purchase this dress at House of RFyreYou can also keep up to date on House of RFyre’s lastest fashions on the internet  — House of RFyre website.

A change of seasons always means a change of wardrobe.  I love fall/winter fashion for their warm fuzzy sweaters, hats, gloves and boots, among other things!  Prism Haute Couture offers just that – clothing designs by Journey McLaglen.  Not only does Prism have wonderful fall/winter fashions but has a BOGO FREE (Buy One Get One) once a week. There is currently one going on until Monday, November 24th.  If you can’t make it for this one, don’t worry, Prism offers them all the time, so keep your eyes opened or better yet, join her group and get updates!

For the BOGO FREE event (Buy One Get One Free), a customer needs to make a purchase and then send Journey McLaglen a note with the item that was purchased and the transaction number and state the outfit that is desired for free. Please remember that the outfit for free needs to be of equal or lesser value than the item that was purchased.

When you get there, you will notice the the bottom floor of Prism offers a wide variety of trendy styles and colors to choose from.  Journey has a few new releases, Lake Tahoe, being one.  I loved the colors on this.  The Lake Tahoe outift includes a hat, scarf, flexi skirt option, leggings that can double as pants and several sweater options.

This is what June Dion has in mind when she was hand drawing the textures, including the buttons, for the Bare Rose Flare Coats.  Being a Tokyo girl myself, I find the winter here a little too chilly to wear just a coat so I have added a white polo neck shirt to the red coat emphasizing the wintry feeling.  Then I layered with black tights and warmed my feet with a pair of ankle boots. These are my favorite ankle boots, and the best matching shoes for this outfit because of it’s black leather.  The gold buckle and red sole on the boots give the overall outfit another touch.  Tokyo girls love accessories too, and to add chicness to the outfit I accessorized with a black & brown fur cape and a pair of leather gloves. I am thrilled to find the fur hat (comes with the blonde hair) that matches the overall outfit perfectly.

So it’s cold outside, but I am ready to hit the street with charm.

Happy holidays everyone! My name is Angie and this is my first entry on the EFA blog. I hope you like it.

I love a beautifully made sweater. If a sweater is designed the right way it can make you feel warm and special and at peace with the world. The shape of a sweater and the way it is knit can give you a whole new attitude. I love my blue cardigan, the sleeves are unique and stylish and add a little extra swing to a diva’s walk. For a little aesthetic depth I put a basic black turtleneck underneath, and borrowed a gray wool skirt from another outfit to bring the cardigan and the turtleneck together. A pair of tights that are the perfect shade of black, and some cheeky Mary Jane’s that I can‘t get enough of. I paired the outfit up with a short and sassy hairdo, a pair of fabulous shades and pearl earrings to finish it off. So fashionistas, pull those knits out of your closet, use your imagination and have fun!
