About Us

Ewing Fashion Agency (EFA) is a fresh, energetic and dynamic group founded by model and business mogul Una Ewing. The agency is based in-world at Ischia. The agency was set up to develop, train and promote the careers of new and established models and fashion designers in Second Life. We are not a modeling agency. We are a fashion promotions agency, which means we use fashion as a promotional tool for our non-fashion industry related clients and promote fashion for our fashion industry related clients. The agency does however, have a collection of trusted and trained models that we use in our shows, as we require a high level of expertise and prefer to use models that have either been trained or have worked with us in the past. We don’t operate the standard model agency model though, which also means that our models work more frequently, don’t loose money through agency fees and have the luxury of having a regular work schedule.

The agency is relatively small with a strong and multi-faceted team from all over the globe, including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Holland, Korea and the United States.

Facilities

The agency’s main facilities consist of the main “White House” agency building, the modeling school building, the black swan runway, photographic studio and the fashion district. The agency also own the Chocolate Runway, which is located sky-high at Amberaldus and is where the FIRST IMPRESSIONS shows are held. All agency facilities can be partly or wholly rented. The agency also has a large 14,000 SQM plot at Saint Helene and now, a private island called Ischia where the first ever EFA Fashion Week was held.

Fashion Show Service Offering                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Event Conceptualisation, Planning & Execution                                                                                                                                                                                                                        The agency plans events such as the FIRST IMPRESSIONS shows that showcase releases by designers (new and established) as well as shows that clients request us to plan, co-ordinate and execute to raise their public profiles. The co-ordination of the show is completely planned and executed by the agency and agency owner Una Ewing, along with the members of her strong team. This covers all stages from:

• Concept creation;
• Guest listing;
• Creating and distributing invitations;
• Communications with the press and other relevant parties and press listings, and conferences;
• Booking and training models;
• Choreograohing and co-ordinating the show from start to finish,
• Presenting the event;
• Event photography and filming to editing and publication;
• Identifying and securing sponsorship;
• Venue booking, decoration and stage effects;
• Show planning choreography and half-time entertainment;
• Casting designers;
• Styling;
• Brochure creation, distribution; and
• After-show care and blog entries.

All clients are asked to do is sign-up and be present at the final fittings, honour any press engagements and be present at the shows themselves.
